Camp Quality
Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors have been proud supporters of Camp Quality since 2007. Every year the firm conducts a number of fundraising initiatives to raise money and awareness for this worthy cause.
- Race Day
The Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors Race Day is an annual event held at Thoroughbred Park for clients, guests, friends and family to network, enjoy canapés and drinks and try their luck at mock horse race betting.
Guests have the opportunity to support Camp Quality via the charity auctions, raffle and lucky door competitions that occur throughout the day. Photos from the 2011 Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors Race Day can be found on our Facebook page.
- Golf Day
This particular charity event is a favourite with Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors Director Scott Hammond as he fancies himself as quite the golfing whiz.
Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors, sponsor a hole and enter a team in the event, assisting Camp Quality in raising over $40,000 each year.
The Golf Day is organised by a local EsCarpade entrant – Team Canberra who raise money throughout the year for the EsCarpade - a 7 day outback motoring adventure across outback Australia.

Directors Weight Loss Challenge
Directors of Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors Domenic Stramandinoli and Scott Hammond are competing in a weight loss competition to raise money for Camp Quality and five year old Sarah Carpenter, who has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia.
Dom and Scott are asking their valued clients, friends and family to pledge money for every collective kilo lost until the end of the financial year.
A weekly weigh in will occur every Monday until the end of the financial year and the latest weigh in figure and photo will be posted on our Facebook page. Like our Facebook page here to see their transformations.
Please email kendall@nexis.net.au with your donation figure for every collective kilo lost and 50% will go to Camp Quality and 50% to the Carpenter family!
For example: email Kendall and say that you would like to pledge $5 for every collective kilo Dom and Scott lose until June 30. On July 1 we will email you with the total amount of weight lost by both of them and an invoice will be sent out to you.

About Sarah Carpenter
Sarah Carpenter’s parents Kirsti, Matt Carpenter never suspected that their five year old daughter would be forced to face the toughest challenge of her life.
Sarah was diagnosed with leukaemia last year which has shattered the lives of her parents and twin Asha.
Sarah and Asha were born around the same time and attended the same preschool as Scott and Kendall’s own twins Oliver and Kaitlin and so cemented their close relationship.
Since being diagnosed, Matt and Kirsti have travelled to the Sydney Children’s Hospital and are staying up there so Sarah can undergo numerous surgeries, tests and painful treatments.
The Carpenter family have continued to suffer emotionally since Sarah’s diagnosis, but are also suffering financially due to treatment costs, surgeries as well as accommodation, food and the inability to work which they stay in Sydney.
We can’t take away the heart-wrenching feeling of watching helplessly while your child suffers, but we can ease the financial stress which is why we are asking that you dig deep and donate to this worthy cause.
There is also a Supporting Sarah Facebook page with more information about her progress and pictures of her fight.
