Domenic Stramandinoli - Director

Domenic has more than 14 years experience in managing business services throughout Canberra as a Chartered Accountant and a registered tax agent.

Domenic cofounded Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors in 2004 as he wanted to push the boundaries with the types of services he could offer his clients. Through Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors, he is now able to offer a wide variety of wealth maximisation and business growth solutions.

He shares his client’s visions and is passionate about growing their businesses. He sees the potential in every one and knows he can help.

When he’s not gaining insight into wealth development or visiting his client’s place of business, Domenic is spending time with his family or at a BBQ with friends.

Scott Hammond - Director

Scott’s career has had a meteoric rise since becoming a Chartered Accountant and registered Tax Agent in the early 90’s to cofounding Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors in 2004.

He provides his clients with exceptional taxation accounting and business advisory services. He especially enjoys assisting business growth by personalised business structuring, monitoring and tax planning techniques.

Scott keeps close communication links with clients and their financial allies such as planners, insurance brokers and bank managers to ensure all entities are working cohesively.

On a Sunday afternoon, Scott can be found hitting birdies on the golf course (or trying to) and spending time with his wife and twins.

Michael Talevich - Senior Manager

Michael joined the team at Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors in 2009 and brought with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Michael is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has commerce and law degrees from Australian National University.

Michael’s strong technical knowledge and extensive experience allows him to provide complex taxation advice and services to both the public and private sectors. This was formally recognised in 2008, when he was presented the Institute of Chartered Accountant’s Canberra Candidate of the Year Award. He is also utilised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a technical presenter both in Canberra and nationally.

Outside of work, Michael has a diverse range of interests including: board positions with the Belconnen Magpies Football Club and the Institute of Chartered Accountant’s Young Professionals Panel, playing golf, AFL,mountain biking and spending time with his new daughter.

Lesley Henderson- Senior Manager

Lesley is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Registered Tax Agent at Nexis Accountants with over 18 years of taxation and accounting experience. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Canberra and a wealth of experience from a number of chartered accounting firms.

Lesley joined the Nexis Accountants & Business Advisors team in 2009 and is responsible for individual client’s taxation and financial affairs, including the provision of compliance services and advisory services.

Originally from Sydney, Lesley has loved living in Canberra for over 20 years with her husband and two children. Away from work Lesley enjoys crafts, cooking, entertaining and spending time with friends and family.
